Midgard Adventure logo

I designed the logo for Midgard Adventure, an adventure tour company in the south of Iceland. They wanted to focus on the Icelandic heritage and the Sagas in their brand. 

The "M" symbol in the logo is a representation of the Jór rune. Jór is an Icelandic word for a horse. Jor is also the rune for Sleipnir, Odin's eight legged horse. He runs over mountains and valleys without getting tired and will stop at nothing. This rune represents motion and agility. It can mean travel in the literal sense but also a journey of the mind and changes in the world around you.
